Graduate Scholarships

University of Bridgeport launched a graduate scholarship program to help deserving students meet the financial obligations of pursuing higher education. There are two award amounts — $3,000 and $4,000 — that are awarded for the first year of study only, and the amount of the award is determined by a student’s academic achievement and test scores.

Eligibility requirements

  • You must be an applicant for a master’s level program in the School of Business or the School of Engineering
  • There is no separate scholarship application; you will automatically be considered for a scholarship at the time of admission

UB also offers a tuition discount for law enforcement personnel (police officers, corrections officers, parole officers, members of the armed forces and veterans) who have permanent residence in Connecticut, New York, or New Jersey and are enrolled in the M.A. Criminal Justice and Human Security program. Eligible students are required to submit the employment verification form after receiving acceptance into the M.A. Criminal Justice and Human Security program.
