Maroon and Gold Merit Scholarships
These merit-based awards are automatically considered for all incoming freshmen who apply to CMU by December 1. No additional application is required. Scholarship amounts vary based on GPA and standardized test scores (ACT/SAT)

Renewal Requirements
- Years 1 and 2
- Enroll full-time (12 credit hours) for fall and spring semesters.
- Earn at least 30 new credits each year.
- Reside on campus during the first two years.
- **Years 3 and 4:
- Maintain a minimum CMU GPA of 3.0.
