Scholarships

Goodwin University offers a variety of scholarships aimed at helping students across different backgrounds. Key opportunities include:

Goodwin Foundation Scholarships: These are for students enrolled in certificate, associate, bachelor's, and master’s programs. International students are also eligible and encouraged to apply, as financial aid options for them are otherwise limited. Most scholarships are need-based, determined by an applicant’s Estimated Family Contribution (EFC), and do not require letters of recommendation.

Merit-Based Scholarships: For undergraduates with strong academic achievements, there are scholarships available based on GPA and other academic accomplishments. Additionally, continuing students may reapply each semester as long as they meet the scholarship criteria. Alumni Association Scholarships: These grants support alumni returning for further studies, like associate degrees in Medical Assisting, providing tuition discounts and additional grants to help graduates continue their education. Program-Specific Aid: Goodwin provides targeted scholarships for specific fields, such as nursing and healthcare programs, reflecting the institution's focus on community health and service fields.

Goodwin Foundation scholarships are awarded three times annually, on a semester by semester basis.

Students can expect to apply for scholarships during the following timeframes:

Fall scholarships will launch in July

Spring scholarships will launch in November
