The Waikato Institute of Technology, commonly known as Wintec, is one of New Zealand’s largest and leading tertiary education institutes. Based in Hamilton, it is now a subsidiary of Te Pūkenga – New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology, the national vocational education provider.
